KARACHI: Two shot dead

KARACHI, June 19: A young man was shot dead by unknown persons near Ziauddin Hospital in Clifton on Monday. Police said Saeed Ahmed, 34, was travelling in a cab (PG-7219). When he stopped at a petrol station to ask about some address, two gunmen on a motorcycle pulled up there and shot repeatedly at Saeed, killing him on the spot.

The victim was rushed to the Jinnah Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Hospital sources said the victim suffered five bullet wounds.

Police said that victim was a resident of Baghdadi police lines.
