KARACHI, June 18: An unidentified man died and three others were injured when a bus overturned on the Sharea Faisal on Sunday.
Police said a bus of Route 17-K bearing number JA-8101 overturned on the Sharea Faisal. A passenger who could not be identified died on the spot while three passengers Marium, Liaquat Ali and Farhan were injured in the accident.
The injured were taken to the Jinnah Hospital for treatment, police said.
ARRESTED: Police on Sunday arrested a bandit after a shootout in Old Golimar.Police said that an armed man barged into a cellphone shop at Bhutto Chowk Old Golimar and held the inmates at gunpoint.
Someone from the neighboring shop called the police helpline and a police mobile reached the shop.
The bandit attempted to escape but was arrested by the police in wounded condition.
Police recovered a TT pistol and looted cellphones from his possession.
