Four killed in Larkana clash

LARKANA, June 17: Four people were killed and four others injured in an exchange of fire between two rival groups in the kutcha area of the district on Saturday.

The two groups were at daggers drawn over a minor dispute of cattle theft and the situation in Shahkani Jatoi village in the jurisdiction of Hatri Ghulam Shah police was tense.

The deceased were identified as Roshan Jatoi, 35, Attur Jatoi, 20, Jalal Jatoi, 18 and Mukhtiar Korai. The injured — Asghar Jatoi, Bachal Korai, Liaquat Korai and Gulbahar Korai — were admitted to the Chandka Medical College hospital.

The condition of Bachal Jatoi was said to be critical.
