KARACHI :NAB asks PIB depositors to file claims


KARACHI, June 16: The National Accountability Bureau, Sindh, has asked all account-holders/depositors of the Prudential Investment Bank to submit their claims immediately so that further action regarding the amounts payable by the said bank may be determined, according to a press release.

The Sindh NAB has recently recovered an amount of Rs437 million as plea bargain from Rasheedullah Yaqoob, ex-chairman of the bank, in a reference filed against him vide 33/2001.

The mode of submitting claims has already been published through a public notice in the local newspapers on June 6 and 7.—PPI
