KARACHI: US Consulate’s relocation demanded

KARACHI, June 14: The father of a victim of June 2000 US Consulate bombing has urged the government to consider relocation of the consulate building.

On the fourth death anniversary of Dr Alia Warsi on Wednesday, her father, M T Warsi, requested the government “to plan and relocate the consulate building in the interest of residents of DHA, Clifton and general people.”

Dr Warsi, Nadia Nazeer, Nazish Karim, Farkhunda Jabeen, Rehana Parveen and others were killed in the blast in front of the US Consulate on June 14, 2002.
