Railway track blown up near Kandhkot

By Ghanshamdas

JACOBABAD, June 13: A portion of railway track was blown up near the Ghulam Qadir Bijarani village between Tangwani and Kandhkot railway stations on Tuesday morning. The explosion was so intense that the people of far away villages heard the bang.

Bomb disposal squad personnel said that three bombs had been planted on the track which exploded one after another.

They said that bombs were local-made and were activated through a remote control.

A railway inspection team came to the place after three hours.
