KARACHI: Revenue targets

KARACHI, June 13: The Sindh Senior Minister for Excise and Taxation, Syed Sardar Ahmed, on Tuesday said that the overall position of revenue collection in Sindh was satisfactory and the set targets in this regard would be achieved well before the close of the current fiscal.

Speaking at a meeting of officers of his department, he asked the regional directors of excise and taxation to accelerate revenue collection work to ensure that targets were met before the close of fiscal.

He said that timely collection of revenues would benefit the masses of the province.—PPI
