LAHORE, June 12: Lahore with 20 points won the 8th Punjab judo championship on Monday. Sahiwal with 18 points and Gujranwala with 16 points earned second and third position.

In all, competitions were held in seven weight categories.

56kgs: Ghulam Farid (Lahore), Safdar (Sahiwal), Jabbar (Rawalpindi).

60kgs: Adnan (Lahore), Faiz (Bahawalpur), Atif (Gujranwala).

66kgs: Imtiaz (Sahiwal), Kamran (Lahore), Amjad (Gujranwala).

73kgs: Arshad (Lahore), Ali (Sahiwal), Rana Idrfees (Sargodha).

81kgs: Naeem (Gujranwala), Ghulam Abbas (Sahiwal), Wasim (Rawalpindi).
