HYDERABAD, June 11: Sindh PML-N president Ghous Ali Shah has called upon workers to prepare for rendering sacrifices for democracy and stability of the country.

He was addressing a meeting of the provincial executive committee of the party from London on telephone on Saturday.

The meeting was held at the residence of provincial joint secretary Khalid Aziz Arain in Latifabad.

Sindh PML-N acting president Saleem Zia presided over the meeting. Party leaders Makhdoom Shahnawaz, Sardar Abdul Raheem, Zahid Rafique Butt, Zain Ansari and Tariq Khan were present on the occasion.

Ghous Ali Shah said that following announcement of the charter of democracy, the government had lost its sense of proportion. He said that the charter of democracy would prove to be a harbinger of a new era in the country.

He urged party leaders and workers to ensure that names of all eligible voters were registered in voter lists.

Saleem Zia briefed the working committee about details of workers conventions held in Sindh. He said that the people of Pakistan and Sindh were looking towards Nawaz Sharif for guidance.

Sardar Abdul Raheem said that the ARD was determined to overthrow the dictatorial regime and it would not rest at peace till the restoration of democracy in the country.
