KARACHI: JSQM leader found dead

KARACHI, June 10: Bullet-riddled body of a local leader of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz was found in an apartment in Gulistan-i-Jauhar here on Saturday.Police said neighbours of Abdul Hakim Nautiar in Ajmer Pride informed the police about stench coming out of an apartment. Police broke open the door and found the body of Abdul Hakim, 40, vice president of JSQM district East. It was sent to a hospital for autopsy where doctors believed that the man was killed some three days back.

Police said Abdul Hakim had been living with his second wife, Aziza, who is missing. Police are looking for Aziza. However, the motive behind the killing could not be known. Police said it did not appear a political murder at the initial stage. Investigation into the killing was in progress.

KILLING: A man was shot dead in Orangi Town.

Police said Sher Alam, 38, came to see someone in Mominabad when some men intercepted him, sprayed him with bullets and fled. Sher Alam received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot. Police claimed that the victim was an absconding suspect from Lyari.
