LAHORE, June 9: Government High School, Sheikhupura, and Government Model High School, Model Town, Lahore, entered the final of the NBP Lahore Region Inter-school hockey championship at the National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
Sheikhupura School defeated Government High School, Chak No 36, Nankana Sahib, 2-0 in the first semifinal with Amjad and Nabeel sharing scoring honours.
Two goals each by Shahid, Sharukh and Abdul Khaliq enabled Model Town School thrash Government High School, Akhtarabad, Okara 6-1.
For the losers, Fahad Ali reduced the margin.
The final will be played on Saturday.
