“The new policy will focus on enhancement of exports through exploring new markets for Pakistan products,” he said while talking to APP at the inaugural ceremony of a road project in Eastern Lahore locality of Mian Mir Colony.

The minister said that efforts were being made to achieve current year’s $17 billion export target. “This will be a great achievement if we touch this mark,” he added.

He said that a group had been formed to explore the ways to conclude a free trade agreement with Association of South East Asian Nations (Asean).—APP
