SANGHAR, June 8: A large number of handicapped people demanded on Thursday job quota for disabled persons in government services and relief package and financial help from Baitul Maal and Zakat funds.

The handicapped people took out a rally and staged a protest demonstration outside the local press club.

They were led by Allah Dino Mangrio, Shaukat Ali, Sajan and Wazir Ali.

Speaking on the occasion, they said that there was nothing for the handicapped people in the recently announced budget. They demanded special quota in jobs, concession in bus and railway fares and utility stores and rehabilitation funds from Baitul Maal and Zakat funds. —Correspondent
