KARACHI, June 8: The deployment of community teachers at the Lyari Expressway

Resettlement Project augurs well for the promotion of education.

This was stated by the Adviser to Chief Minister, Fatima Surayya Bajia, while speaking to school teachers at the Taiser Town during her visit to the re-settlement project.

Bajia said that appointment of area girls as teachers would contribute towards promotion of education in the locality.

She also appreciated the commitment of these girls to impart knowledge to the children.

During the visit, the adviser also inspected the summer classes in the schools and talked to youngsters attending the programme.

She exhorted them to acquire knowledge with dedication and also plant trees in the area to make the locality green.

Bajia also stressed that due attention should also be paid towards cleanliness.

On the occasion, she also distributed prizes among chil-

dren excelling in academic activities.

Later, Bajia also visited the area and inspected ongoing development work.—APP
