Constable shot dead

FAISALABAD, June 7: Armed gangsters shot dead a constable and injured another at a police picket near Dijkot Town on Tuesday night.

Reports said that two suspects opened indiscriminate fire on the motorcycle squad at Dasuha village. As a result, both constables sustained serious injuries. Abdul Hameed died while being taken to hospital while the condition of Nawaz was stated to be critical.

Receiving information, police teams rushed to the spot and combed the area, but they failed to find any clue to outlaws.
