QUETTA, June 7: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousuf on Wednesday directed law-enforcement agencies to take stern action against saboteurs, anti-social elements and lawbreakers and ensure protection of national installations, roads and rail tracks in the province.
Presiding over a meeting, he said a comprehensive strategy should be prepared within three days to tackle the situation.
The chief minister expressed concern over subversive activities and increasing incidents of kidnapping of children in Quetta and directed officials to utilise all resources to hunt down criminals.
“Kidnapping must be stopped. Protect all roads, rail tracks and other national installations,” he asked the officials.
The chief minister ordered the Capital City Police Officer to take steps against those involved in kidnapping of children and said that all kidnapped children should be recovered immediately. Home Minister Mir Shoaib Nausherwani, Finance Minister Syed Ehsan Shah, Mir Habibur Rehman Mohammad Hasni and Chief Secretary K.B. Rind attended the meeting.— Staff Correspondent
