Fareed takes KPT into semifinals
KARACHI, June 6: Fareed Majeed struck twice as Karachi Port Trust sailed into semifinal of All Pakistan Shaheed Anwer Bhai football tournament by defeating Sui Southern Gas 2-1 in the third quarterfinal at People’s Sports Complex on Tuesday.
Fareed scored his first goal in the 26th minute and the second in 68th minute.
Imran Fareed hit consolation goal for SSGC in the 85th minute on a penalty kick.—PPI
