Soldier dies in rocket attack

By Our Correspondent

MIRAMSHAH, June 5: Militants launched a rocket attack on the Oblanki checkpost in Dosali area of the Razmak subdivision, late on Sunday night, killing one soldier and injuring another.

Sources said that 15 rockets were fired. The army pounded assailants’ positions with artillery for two hours, they said.

The administration of the North Waziristan relaxed the curfew in Miramshah from 8am to 7pm on Monday. The authorities sealed Shaheen hotel, Zer Ahmad medical complex and another building, saying they were used to fire on security forces.
