Environment Day observed

HARIPUR, June 5: To mark the World Environment Day various civil society organisations of Haripur staged a rally at village Hattar here on Monday. The rally was arranged by Sungi, Human Development Organisation, Sustainable Development Vision (SDV) and Village Organisation Hattar. Social activists participated in it.

Omar Javed Khan of Sungi while addresing the speakers criticized the industrialists for delaying installation of dust collection system at the cement-manufacturing units of Hattar, which had, according to him, exposed people to numerous hazards.— Correspondent
