FAISALABAD, June 4: Seven members of a family were killed when a train hit their car at an unmanned crossing near Chak Jhumra on Sunday. The Sargodha Express (123-Up) coming from Lahore was on its way to Sargodha. As the train crossed the unmanned Sathoiwala crossing, it rammed into the car that was passing through the point.

All seven occupants of the car died.

They were identified as Owais Ahmed, Muhammad Akram, Shakeela, Kausar and two minor girls – Saadia and Ameena – and a minor boy Waqas Ahmed.

The area people had to cut the smashed car to take out bodies.

The traffic was restored after about an hour and a half.
