‘Grisly Iraq murders deeply disturbing’

By Qudssia Akhlaque

ISLAMABAD, June 2: Pakistan on Friday expressed serious concern at the reported ruthless killing of seven members of a family in Iraq, including a 75-year-old woman and an infant, by US soldiers who later raised the house to the ground to cover up the brutal act.

This was reported by the BBC that released a video on the violent act that amounts to a war crime. All members of the family were shot in the head.

When Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam was asked to comment on these reports, she said: “These reports are deeply disturbing.”
