KARACHI, June 2: The Deputy Provincial Scout Commissioner of the Sindh Boy Scouts Association (SBSA), Hasan Feroz, on Thursday said that the association had decided to form a rescue team, which would be equipped with modern security equipment to face any incident including natural disaster.

This he said while addressing a prize distribution ceremony at the Provincial Scout Headquarters for scouts, who had participated in the rescue work in the earthquake affected areas.

Mr Feroz said that the Sindh scouts had played an important role in the rescue work in earthquake affected areas and they were still engaged in reconstruction and rehabilitation activities.

Shields and honorary certificates were distributed among the scouts. The National Secretary of the PBSA, Col Muhammad Shah Ali, and Provincial Coordinator Akhter Mir also spoke.—PPI
