HYDERABAD, June 1: The District Police Officer (DPO) of Hyderabad, Ali Ahmed Junejo, on Thursday suspended five police officers one inspector, one ASI and three low ranking officers for using influence to get “suitable” postings in the district and recommended to the high-ups for their termination from service.

Those suspended included Inspector Zulfikar Kalyar, in-charge of the district intelligence bureau (DIB), ASI Asif Nazeer, head munshi of police line, Ghulam Rasool, munshis of police line, Hasnain and Ashraf.

A police spokesman said the DPO has called for reports of those policemen who were working at one posting since a long time.
