During a recent meeting, the MTM decided to include more student organizations in its struggle for restoration of student unions, resist imposition of any ban on educational activities by students in educational institutions, and unnecessary interference of official quarters in educational institutions, the spokesman added.

An eight-member committee, headed by Irfan Baloch of the People’s Students Federation, was formed to evolve a future line of action of the front in the next two weeks.

It also demanded the removal of Rangers from universities.

The organizations of the Mahaz included the Islami Jamiat Talaba, Imamia Students Organizations, Anjuman Talaba-i-Islam, People’s Students Federation, Rajput Students Federation, Punjabi Students Association, Punjabi Pakhtoon Students, Hazara Students Federation, Muslim Students Federation, People’s Lawyers Students, Dawa Students Federation, and the Jamiat Talaba Arabia, said a press release.
