Pakistan win 2nd match


KARACHI, May 30: Promising Aamir Ashfaq excelled with the bat as Pakistan blind cricket team crushed their English counterparts by eight wickets to take a 2-0 lead in the series at Worcestershire, England.

According to the details available on Tuesday, Aamir blasted match-winning 70 as the visitors reached their target of 170 with ease in 22.1 overs.

Aamir got good support from Mohammad Fayyaz who remained unconquered on 33.

Earlier, Rorey Filed struck an impressive 54 as the hosts piled in 169-6 in stipulated 40 overs while batting first.

Abdul Razzak grabbed two while Fayyaz and Mohammad Waqas took one wicket each. The third match of the series will be played on Wednesday at New Road, Worcester. —PPI
