Sabih named ‘A’ team coach

By Our Sports Reporter

ISLAMABAD, May 30: Sabih Azhar has been named as the coach of the Pakistan ‘A’ cricket team which is to tour Australia this July. Sabih said on Tuesday that he will be leaving for Lahore on Wednesday to join the team's training camp under way there.

Pakistan ‘A’ will feature in a quadrangular tournament involving the hosts, India and New Zealand besides playing two four-day games against Australia ‘A’.

It is the second time that Sabih has been assigned the task of coaching the ‘A’ team, having been associated with the side when Australia ‘A’ toured last September.

Sabih helped Peshawar win the national title as coach besides also helping ARL qualify for the final of Patron's Trophy Grade-I competition.
