PESHAWAR, May 30: Police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested 11 outlaws, six of them proclaimed offenders, wanted in cases of murder, attempt to murder and other crimes, and seized weapons and drugs from them.
According to a press release issued here, Khalil, Noor Rehman, Shereen and Afrasiab of Mashogagar, who had been at large since September 2005, were arrested in a raid in Bedabher area. In a raid in Matni area, proclaimed offenders Banras and Syed Mohammad were arrested. Police apprehended Hameedullah, Rehman, Haider Ali, Abaidullah Munawar and Shah Gul in Sharif Abad and seized a Kalashnikov, a rifle, nine pistols, a shotgun, 5kg of hashish and hundreds of cartridges.—APP
