KARACHI, May 29: Daffodils Model School recorded an emphatic 276-run victory over GBSS Saudabad as three more matches were decided in the PCB National Inter-school (Karachi region) cricket tournament on Sunday.

Batting first, Daffodils Model piled up 334 for seven in their 45 overs with Wasim Razzaq (82, eight fours), Ishtiaq Ghauri (62, five fours) and Osama Khan (57, six fours) being the leading run-getters.

GBSS Saudabad, in reply, managed just 58 in 21.2 overs. Leg-spinner Bilal Hussain claimed four for 30.

In other matches, New Standard School also emerged easy victors against Falcon Model School by 132 runs while Nara School Korangi defeated R.S. Model School by 89 runs.

NASRA KORANGI 202 in 38.4 overs (Mohammad Talha 62, Razaullah 21; Zohaib Obrai 3-66, Sarfraz Ahmed 2-18;

R.S. MODEL 113 in in 25.4 overs (Waqas Aziz 46; Talha Zaheer 4-26, Abdul Ahad 3-14, Razaullah 3-26).

Daffodils Model School beat GBSS Saudabad No 1 by 276 runs.
