LAHORE, May 28: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi on Sunday alleged that Mr Nawaz Sharif had colluded with the political party which had dismembered the country and therefore the real Leaguers must join the actual Pakistan Muslim League.

Mr Nawaz Sharif had abandoned the ideology of Muslim League which should be a matter of concern for the real Leaguers.

The collusion of the PML-N and the PPP had highlighted the ideological identity of the PML, he said while speaking to assembly members from Nankana and Sheikhupura who called on him here.

Federal Sports Minister Mian Shamim Haider and nazims of the two districts were also present on the occasion.

The chief minister said the PML could only make the country economically strong and prosperous.

The PML-N and the PPP plundered national resources in the past and they were now getting united. But, he said, the people fully knew their politics of plunder and would not again be hoodwinked by them.

He said all patriotic forces were assembling on the PML platform, making concerted efforts to make the country a strong economic power. The PML guaranteed prosperity of the country whose economic condition had improved because of the party’s best policies.

The chief minister claimed that the PML was the only party that had the capability to face all challenges. Scores of people had joined it during its membership campaign because of its excellent performance. This also indicated popularity of the party, he said.

He said the PML had given political stability to the country by promoting a culture of cooperation and accommodation, allowing democratic institutions to effectively resolve problems of the people.
