KARACHI: Govt servants' salaries


KARACHI, May 27: Sindh minister for inter-provincial coordination Sohrab Khan Sarki said here on Saturday that Sindh Budget for 2006-07 would be tax-free and government has also proposed enhancement of salaries of its employees.

He was speaking to a seven-member delegation, comprising elite from Sanghar which called on him at his office.

The minister told the delegation that to overcome the problem of unemployment in Sindh, ban on jobs would soon be lifted so that educated unemployed youth could get employment.

Sohrab Khan Sarki said in the next financial year’s budget a record number of development schemes would be completed and the people would get maximum benefits from these. —APP
