Inter exam starts today

BAHAWALPUR, May 24: More than 51,000 candidates will appear in the intermediate examination for 2006, starting Thursday. According to the local board of intermediate and secondary education, a total of 186 examination centres in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan have been set up.

KILLED: A robber was shot dead in the firing of his own accomplices during a house strike on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, a mother of four was allegedly killed by her brother arshad and father-in-law near Ahmedpur East.
