KARACHI, May 23: An illegal hydrant in UC-4 of Site Town was sealed and two water tankers were impounded on Tuesday. According to details, a raid was conducted on the illegal hydrant in UC-4 on the orders of Nazim Site Town Izharuddin Ahmed Khan.
About 30,000-gallons of water per day was being stolen by the said hydrant and sold to factories in Site at a higher price.
The owner of the hydrant managed to flee. A FIR was registered and a probe was initiated.—PPI
