KARACHI, May 22: Three ships carrying containers and LPG were berthed at the QICT and Engro Terminal during the last 24 hours, a PQA press release said here on Monday.

Three ships, two container ships and one LPG carrier, sailed out, while three more ships with containers, chemicals and diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorage.

Eight ships — Wester Moor, Gallant Wave, MSC Socotra, Tu King, New Toyokaze, Carolina, Onozo and Navnigator Pluto — are currently at the berths to load and offload containers, rice, sugar, edible oil and crude oil and LPG.

A cargo volume of 97,564 tons comprising 78,184 tons imports and 19,380 tons exports was handled during the last 24 hours.

Three ships, Wester Moor, Gallant Wave and Navigator Pluto, departed.
