Daruwala for Colombo

KARACHI, May 20: Pakistan's Shabbir Daruwala has been invited to supervise matches in the 22nd Asian snooker championship schedule to be held at Colombo from June 30 to July 7, Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association announced on Saturday.

Invitation to supervise the continental event was extended to him by Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports.

52-year-old Shabbir Daruwala had already supervised four global events in Pakistan, China, Egypt and Netherlands besides serving as referee in nine Asian championships and in the 2002 Asian Games in South Korea.—APP
