SUKKUR, May 19: A man and a woman were killed in villages Miro Ogahi and Garhi Tegho, near Kandhkot in the early hours of Thursday.

The killings are believed to be the result of enmity between to clams.

Reports say Abdul Jabbar, 25, son of Arib Ogahi, was going to bazaar when a group of armed men shot him dead and escaped.

Later, in retaliation, another group raided village Garhi Tegho and fired a rocket, killing a woman, Imam Zadi w/o Rehmatullah Naseerani, on the spot.

Abdul Karim, uncle of Abdul Jabbar, has registered an FIR against 11 Teghani people, Nisar Ahmed, Gul Hassan, Ghulam Akbar, Mohammad Nawaz, Abdul Nabi and others.

Police attributed killings to an old enmity between Ogahi and Teghani clans, which so far have claimed 23 lives from the two sides.
