Options open for civilian N-technology, says Kasuri
ISLAMABAD, May 17: Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri has said that Islamabad will get civil nuclear technology from different countries to meet its energy requirements.
He expressed these views during briefing to the NA Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs at parliament house here on Wednesday. The meeting was chaired by its chairman Farooq Sattar. The meeting was briefed on US President George Bush’s visit to Pakistan, Pak-Afghan and Pak-African countries relations.
Mr Kasuri said the Indo-US deal on civil nuclear technology would destabilise the region. “ Pakistan will not tolerate the discriminatory attitude,” he warned. —Online
