PESHAWAR, May 17: Dozens of alleged criminals have been arrested and a huge cache of arms was seized during a crackdown on proclaimed offenders.
According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, during raids against alleged criminals, six proclaimed offenders, Saifullah, Koshal, Abdul Sattar alias Sataray, Shah Jehan and Zakir were arrested.
Thirteen pistols, two Kalashnikovs, one Kalakovs, two rifles, one shotgun and 130 cartridges of various bores were also recovered from them.
In another raid against the drug sellers, several accused were arrested and two kilograms of hashish and 12 litres of liquor were seized.—APP
