Woman commits suicide

TOBA TEK SINGH, May 16: A woman allegedly committed suicide in Chak 366 JB near Gojra on Tuesday. Rashida, 24, belonging to a poor peasant family, was upset over domestic disputes and took poison. She was shifted to Gojra THQ hospital where she died.

WELCOMED: PML-N central executive committee member M. Hamza has welcomed signing of “Charter of Democracy” between PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif and PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto in London.

In a press statement on Tuesday, he said the agreement would permanently block the way of army generals.

He said after the return of Mr Sharif and Ms Bhutto, political scenario of the country would be changed and the ruling party would meet its logical end.
