Associations blast sports officials

By Our Correspondent

MIRPURKHAS, May 15: District Karate Association, Judo Association and District Wrestling Association expressed concern over neglecting the three games in ongoing trials for Sindh Games. A meeting of the associations’ general secretaries, held on Monday, observed that coordinator of the trials had favoured his blue eyed boys in the trials and did not even invite the registered associations in meeting.

Kamran Qureshi, Pir Mubarak Shah and Malik Iqbal demanded of the Sindh sports minister, district nazim and Mirpurkhas DCO to take notice of the matter.

Meanwhile, Mirpurkhas Special Sports and Welfare Association complained about indifferent attitude of sports officials towards special persons in the trials.

The meeting demanded end of discrimination and participation of special persons in the trials.
