KARACHI, May 15: Five ships, including a car carrier with 514 units, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where nine ships were berthed to unload and load containers and rice. They are: Hanjin Busan, Tower Bridge, Pu He, MOL Accord, to unload and load containers, Yang Xiang-9, to unload and load general cargo, Furia-R, to offload coal, Orientor-2, to offload steel coils, Golina, to load rice, and Oram Glory, to load ethanol.

Sailing was also active as nine vessels also departed, which included Mol Kouri, Thor Captain, Nord Woge, Hanjin Busan, Tower Bridge, Khalijia-Yang Xiang-9, Shalamar and Stolt Avnir, while Jin Bao, Ibn Bassam, Liberty Glory, Orientor-2, Pu He, Malakand, Iran Shahryar, Maersk Alabama and MOL Accord are due to sail out on Tuesday.

The cargo handling activity on the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.102m tons comprising 12,357 tons of export cargo, including 7,158 tons of rice and 89,651 tons of import cargo, was handled. The following ships are due on Tuesday: Iran Sattari, APL Osaka, Jade Trader, with containers, Grande Sicilia, with 514 cars, and Haje Khereh, with general cargo.
