Two dead in Kashmir grenade blast

JAMMU, May 13: Suspected militants hurled a grenade at a Bharatiya Janata Party rally in Doda on Saturday, killing two people and wounding at least 35 others, police and doctors said.

The explosion near the main bus station in the town was aimed at the rally, said an official.

The rally was held to protest the killings of 35 Hindus in two attacks in the region. The victims included both participants of the rally and passengers waiting at the bus station, he said.—AP
