DERA GHAZI KHAN, May 13: Darahma police could not find clue to Jalaluddin who had been abducted around two weeks ago from his farm.

Kidnappers have reportedly demanded Rs10 million for the release of the youth.

Reports said Jalaluddin, a resident of B-block of the city, and his servant Talib Husain were kidnapped by five unidentified men. Later, they released Talib. Meanwhile, relatives of Jalal have sought help of a Khosa ‘sardar’ as a mediator.

The incidence of abduction has become a routine matter in Darahma police limits. Last year more than a dozen people had been abducted for ransom from Darahma and Kot Cchuta police limits.

All of them paid ransom totalling Rs70 million to kidnappers for their release while the police could not play its role in this regard.

When contacted, SDPO Sheikh Munir told Dawn that the police would soon arrest kidnappers and recover Jalaluddin.
