Fine performance by Raza

LAHORE, May 12: All-round performance by Raza Khan helped Apollo Club moved into the semifinals of Apollo Sports Gold Cup Cricket tournament, beating Roshi Gymkhana by a big margin of 100 runs at the Garhi Shahu ground on Friday.

Batting first, the winners set a formidable target of 293 scoring 292-8 in the allotted 40 overs in which Raza contributed 32 runs. However, Nasir Imdad was the top scorer with 63.

Raza grabbed three wickets for 35 runs to restrict Roshi Club to 192 in 35 overs.
