BAHAWALPUR, May 12: Twenty-five candidates, taking the first paper of MBA programme of Allama Iqbal Open University, could not attempt the paper at the S. E. College centre as the question paper could not be delivered at the centre in time on Friday.

The candidates protested against the university and expressed the fear that they might lose their one year.

Killed: Two motorcyclists were killed in an accident on the Ahmadpur East Road Friday.

Police said Tariq and Iftikhar were coming from Khanqah Sharif, about 10 kilometres from here, to Bahawalpur.

Their motorcycle skidded off the road due to high speed and dashed against a roadside tree. Tariq was killed on the spot while Iftikhar succumbed to injuries in hospital. — Correspondent
