LAKKI MARWAT, May 12: District Nazim Humayun Saifullah Khan has said that the district government despite its meagre resources is working to eradicate polio.

He was presiding over a meeting to review the progress of polio eradication campaign here on Thursday.

Expanded Programme for Immunization (EPI) provincial director Dr Mohammad Iqbal Afridi, EDO Health Lakki Dr Mohammad Iqbal Marwat and other officials attended the meeting.

The nazim urged the officials to launch awareness campaign and involve people from print and electronic media in the process so that the desired results could be achieved.
