KARACHI, May 12: Two ships carrying containers and HSD oil were accommodated berths at QICT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Berth occupancy remained at 78 per cent as seven ships were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, sugar, edible oil, HSD oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 77,242 tons comprising 72,196 tons of import and 5,046 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as five ships left the port. While three ships, Keefan, Northern Bell and Cocomo, were awaiting their berthing turn at the outer anchorage.
