Easy victory for Police
GUJRANWALA, May 9: Pakistan Police defeated Pakistan Steels 3-0 in the opening match of Governor Punjab Gold Cup National Volleyball Championship here on Tuesday. Eight teams – Police, Wapda, Army, Pakistan Steels, POF Wah, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, NWFP and Punjab are participating in the event.
Three matches were played on the opening day of the championship.
In the other matches, Wapda beat NWFP 3-1 and POF Wah defeated Punjab.—APP
