Attack on newsmen condemned
KARACHI, May 9: The Karachi Union of Journalists has condemned what it called an attack on a journalist and a cameraman during city government’s demolition operation in Sikandar Goth. In a statement, the union accused some officials of torturing TV journalist Gulshan Sheikh and cameraman Adnan, leaving the latter unconscious.
The KUJ leaders demanded that a case should be registered against people involved in the incident and effective action should be taken against them.
