Asif inspires RSMCC

KARACHI, May 8: A fine knock of 85 by Asif Mustafa guided Rafiq Shirazi Memorial CC to a 55-run victory over Al-Noor Gymkhana in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament at the Students Ground on Sunday. Thanks to Asif, who hit five boundaries, Rafiq Shirazi managed to reach 214 in 40 overs.

Medium-pacer Kashif Pervez grabbed three for 42 while slow left-armer Mohammad Ali Zafar took two for 26.

Al-Noor Gymkhana, in reply, were bowled out for 159 in the 36th over with leg-spinner Zafar Ali picking up three for 32 and off-spinner Wasim Naeem two for 20.
