DSP injured

LAHORE, May 8: A DSP was injured by dacoits at Nawab Town, Raiwind Road, here on Monday. Police said that the bandits entered a house and tried to loot inmates. The inmates raised an alarm and the criminals started aerial firing. After hearing the noise, Kasur Sadar police DSP Muhammad Akram, who lived in front of the house, came outside from his house and he was fired upon. He received serious injuries and was rushed to the Jinnah Hospital for treatment..—APP
